Free time is a funny thing… like most people I don’t have a lot of it. I have been maintaining this Web site for ten seasons now. It seems that as each season comes along I have less and less time to devote for updating it. It is not only frustrating for me but for the people who visit this site as well. I know of this frustration through the email complaints that I receive and the complaints that I hear second hand.

In order to correct this problem I have decided to make major changes to the site for next season. I will be removing select areas and components of the site in order to simplify the updating process.

The following areas will be changed or removed next season:

- Articles. I’ll be replacing articles with a detailed statistical breakdown and “Game Notes”.

- Conference Scoreboards. The information is available elsewhere on the internet so they will be removed. Links will be provided to this information.

- Front Page Last Game Summary. The information will be available on the Varsity page.

- Latest Headlines. These will be updated only twice a week on Sundays and Fridays. I’m also considering removing this completely.

- Alumni Update. A page detailing who plays where will be added and headlines will be removed.

These are only the changes I see right now but I expect to make many more. The site will be redesigned into a simpler, more basic version. My goal is to cut down an updating process that can sometimes take 5-6 hours per week to just one or two.
